The new M7 is available in two versions, five and six seats, priced between 249,800 yuan and 329,800 yuan. The price range is comparable to the mid-size SUV of the same brand, the M5, and the new M7 is 70,000 yuan cheaper than the previous version. Compared with the January M7 after the price reduction, it is also reduced by 40,000 yuan.
In addition to that, the independent launch of the new M7 is the first time since the establishment of the brand.
In the past, models including the M5 and M5 EV were released at Huawei’s new product launch. According to the official, since the launch of the new M7 on September 12, the daily average order of the new M7 has exceeded 1,500 vehicles, and the total order of the whole September has reached 30,000 vehicles. The latest data shows that as of October 5, the cumulative order of the new M7 has exceeded 40,000 vehicles, which means that the daily order volume is about 2,000 vehicles.
During the National Day, the sales of the new M7 were more hot than ever. However, on October 1st, domestic new power automobile companies generally announced their delivery figures, but AITO chose to remain silent again.
According to the data, the cumulative sales of Li Auto in the first three quarters reached 244,200 vehicles, and their annual sales target was 300,000 vehicles, with a completion rate of 80%. This makes Li Auto the company with the highest delivery target achievement rate among emerging forces.
In addition, the annual sales target of Extreme Krypton is 140,000 units, with a completion rate of 54% in the first three quarters. However, the completion rate of other models is below 50%. In the face of intense market competition, it is expected to be difficult to achieve the sales target.
With the launch of the new M7 by AITO, it may change its low-profile situation.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that in the fourth quarter, AITO also plans to launch a new model called M9. Yu Chengdong announced at Huawei’s autumn all-scene new product launch on September 25 that the M9 will be released in December.
From the product positioning point of view, the Q Jie M9 will directly compete with the ideal L9. According to the information disclosed by MIIT, the Q Jie M9 will provide two power options: extended range and pure electric, with a body size of 5230/1999/1800mm and a wheelbase of 3110mm. Positioned as a full-size SUV, the car will face direct competition with the ideal L9.
It is understood that Huawei’s latest smart car full set of technical solutions will be applied to the M9, including HUAWEI x HUD AR-HUD, HUAWEI xPixel, HUAWEI xScene light field screen and the latest HarmonyOS 4.
